Due to Movplicity’s relationships with our vendors, it is better to shop the new rates and promotions rather than stay in your contracts for a long period of time. At the very least, allow Movplicity to shop around and provide you with the latest and greatest options in technology and pricing.

Movplicity’s Software is Zip Code driven - meaning that our search engine will cross reference your address with all of our service provider’s available to you in your area
Movplicity’s service area is Nationwide.
Each company has features that benefit our customers in different ways - We educate you on these features that fit your personal needs to assess the proper product.
You can login to your Movplicity account and make changes to your service information, or you can speak with a customer service rep directly.
At Movplicity we feel that it is never too early to start preparing for your move.
It typically takes the USPS between 7-12 business days to process mail forwarding requests.

Once they've finished processing your request, you'll receive a USPS Confirmation Letter in the mail and begin seeing your forwarded mail a few days later.

Please note: It can take up to 10 business days for the USPS to redirect mail from your old address to your new address. If it's been more than 10 business days since receiving your USPS Confirmation Letter, you'll want to contact your local post office (at your old address) for additional assistance!
If you decide to not forward your mail, you'll need to make sure that you notify anyone who sends you mail of your new address. Otherwise, mail will continue to arrive at your old address. This includes everyone from your frequent flyer program and magazine subscriptions to your friends and family members.
That’s up to you. You can specify how long you’d like to forward your mail for – maybe it’s temporarily for 2 months, or maybe it’s the maximum allowed time of 12 months. If you select the maximum of 12 months of mail forwarding, the postal service will make your address available through their National Change of Address (NCOA) list. As a result, mailers and marketing firms that know your name and old address will now have access to your new address.

Sorry to hear that! Let’s fix this. Since the postal service can take up to 12 business days to begin forwarding your mail, be sure that enough time has gone by without indication that new mail is arriving.

If it’s been longer than 12 business days, email us and we’ll look into it for you.If we notify you that it’s a postal service issue, you’ll have to contact your local post office at your old address.We can also refile your change of address form on your behalf!
For your start date, you'll want to select the date that you will be moving to your new address as this essentially tells the USPS on what date they should stop delivering mail to your old address and begin redirecting mail to your new address.

Please note: It can take up to 10 business days from your start date to receive your first piece of forwarded mail. During this time, the USPS is redirecting your mail from your old home to your new home.
When you get charged can vary greatly based on service provider, current promotions, and even your creditworthiness.
While we don't have a feature for disconnecting utilities at this time, it's definitely on our radar! In the meantime, you'll need to contact your utility providers directly to turn off service at your current address.
An in-home moving estimate is an indicator of what you can expect to spend on your move by having a professional moving company complete an evaluation of all the items you need moved. They will also be able to determine whether you can benefit from additional moving services, like packing, help with specialized items, and storage. In-home estimates are highly recommended if you're moving a long distance or moving a large home because it will help your moving company provide the most accurate quote possible.
To ensure the best rates, we recommended that you book at least two weeks prior to your move. For busier months (such as the Summer), we’d recommend booking as soon as possible. Ideally, up to one month in advance of your move.
A Certificate of Insurance provides proof of insurance in case they damage any areas within the building during the move. Typically, you’ll only need this if you are moving in or out of an apartment building or in urban areas. If you’re unsure if you need one, please check with your property manager to confirm. This helps ensure that your move goes as smoothly as possible!
All claims for damaged items must be filed through your moving company. Please contact your moving company directly for information regarding their process.
